The constituency office of Lac Ste. Anne-Parkland is looking for a Part-time Summer Student. In this unique role, the ideal candidate will be a post-secondary student and possess organizational skills along with strong attention to detail as they support the needs of constituents and assist the functions of the office.
The Summer Student will primarily be responsible for working on an outreach project. The Student will be expected to make telephone calls to the constituents as per an approved script and update data accordingly.
The Student will also be responsible for collecting inquiries and relaying messages to the Constituency Assistant or MLA. The Summer Student will also provide support to the constituency office administration and operations with data-entry and other projects related to community outreach.
The ideal candidate would be a current post-secondary student. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently manage multiple demands while projecting a calm and professional presence. Experience with Microsoft Office suite is essential for this position.
The rate of pay is $15 per hour with an additional 11.2% pay in lieu of vacation and general (statutory) holiday entitlements.
This is a summer contract position with an end date of August 31, 2020. Likely start date June 1, 2020.
