Stockpiling Is Not Good!
Great message from the minister. The supply chain is intact, thanks to all of the folks in the industry. Many thanks to the folks keeping the trucks rolling, if you bought it, they brought it.
Thanks again to all of the grocery stores, warehouse folks, people stocking the shelves Cashiers, to name a few.
I have heard from several people now about the great job that the folks at the Onoway Big Way have been doing to support their community. Long hours, keeping the prices stable, having supply for their customers, and making sure that the place is ready to go early in the morning for the seniors.
There are some great stories out there about people helping each other and their community out.
I heard of a few folks paying for truckers meals, or wanting to make them home cooked ones that they can pick up at a gas station.
Another gentleman made an offer to camp out and help maintain rest stops so the truckers had a clean place with supplies to stop at…given that there was a challenge with some very bad apples causing damage that forces the temporary closures.
Hang in there, keep doing the right things and watching out for each other.
