Canada Needs Exports
One-third of our national GDP is based on exports. Many economists have advocated building new infrastructure as the best way to restart the economy. But the longer-term benefits are even greater. Canada is the source of the best natural resources in the world, but they all depend on financially competitive access to international markets.
GDP and Transportation & Utility Corridors
A national corridor is a network of rights-of-way across northern Canada for multiple types of infrastructure assets and export opportunities. It would connect all regions of Canada and provide market access for Canadian products (including natural resources), allowing movement of goods and services while addressing social and environmental concerns.
This project is more than politics–it is about connecting communities across the country and world in delivering sustainable products and stimulating the largest positive impact on economic growth. It is about long-term investment in the economic, social, and environmental quality of life of all Canadians, and countries across the world who want to make a transition to more sustainable forms of energy.
The value of establishing a national corridor is truly immeasurable.
